What do I do if I receive a subpoena for records?
Subpoenas are red flags that litigation is pending and a potential source of recovery is available. Contact Boehm & Associates immediately with the subpoena information and we will investigate the case further.
How do I refer a case to Boehm & Associates?
If you are an existing Boehm & Associates client you can e-mail, fax or mail a Case Referral Form or contact the Client Services Department (if you need forms, please contact us). If you are not yet a Boehm & Associates client, please contact the Client Services Department and provide the necessary information so we can begin the recovery process.
What does Boehm & Associates charge for its services?
Boehm & Associates' handles cases on a contingent fee basis. You pay nothing unless we recover money for you. Please contact our Client Services Department for details.
What if I don’t know whether to refer a case?
Boehm & Associates will review your documentation and any existing case information (for example Workers' Compensation filings, etc.) to determine whether there is a viable case.
How can I be sure our patient’s/member’s personal information is protected?
Boehm & Associates’ entire staff receives confidentiality training, and Boehm & Associates complies with all HIPAA regulations. Our IT staff employs all of the latest and industry accepted data encryption methods.
If additional treatment is provided after a case is referred to Boehm & Associates, should I advise Boehm & Associates of the additional treatment?
Boehm & Associates will immediately file an amended lien to include the additional treatment.
If our facility receives a payment after referral to Boehm & Associates should I advise Boehm & Associates of the payment?
Boehm & Associates will review the case to determine whether the payment is adequate and timely paid.
What if I am unsure whether our treatment is related to the workers’ compensation or third party liability case?
Boehm & Associates' claims analysts can quickly review claims to determine whether treatment is related. Boehm & Associates also provides on-site seminars to its clients to assist in this process.
